Background checks should be done thoroughly on any immigrant entering the country

 @934DFHGAam Aadmianswered…2yrs2Y

No, but terrorism screening should be conducted for all immigrants, regardless of religion.

 @92QJ8LZBharatiya Janataanswered…2yrs2Y

yes , untill they leave their muslim religion and converts to other religion in india

 @925D62Zanswered…2yrs2Y

While banning people on religious basis is wrong, government should be more thorough with background check and should create specialized test to screen out potential radical elements while allowing hard working immigrants

 @8YSBBW4Bharatiya Janataanswered…2yrs2Y

Immigration laws need to be stricter, immigration should not be banned

 @9CT2LTXBharatiya Janataanswered…9mos9MO

Muslim migrants should be blanket banned from entering India forever. There are 10s of islamic nations surrounding India. They can take these migrants.

 @9CS2HVTCommunistanswered…9mos9MO

 @9CR9MJ2Aam Aadmianswered…9mos9MO

Should be applicable to everyone immigrating, regardless of religion.

Illegal immigrants need to be banned, screening capacity needs to be better

 @9CQHM6Ranswered…9mos9MO

Background check should be done. If there is a red flag ban them from entering. Not all

 @9CQDNXFBharatiya Janataanswered…9mos9MO

Whether screening is improved or not, Muslim immigrants shouldn’t be allowed anyway into the country.

 @9CQD2LLShiv Senaanswered…9mos9MO

Ban any Muslim immigration regardless of whether or not they represent a terrorist threat.

 @9CQBZ92answered…9mos9MO

No needs of unworthy immigrants in heavily populated countries like India

 @9CQB3CQIndependentanswered…9mos9MO

No, instead we should focus on improving our screening process but illegal Muslim immigrants need to be sent back

 @9CQ8ZMRIndian National Congressanswered…9mos9MO

We already have enough population and diversity, no need to allow immigrants in !

 @9CQ7TVHBharatiya Janataanswered…9mos9MO

No, but there must be extra precautions and screening process especially from high risk nations like Pakistan, Afghanistan, Yemen, Syria etc

 @9CQ6VMTanswered…9mos9MO

Ban regardless of religion, until the screening process is improved. After that, just follow normal regulations

 @9CQ4QXVanswered…9mos9MO

Already the MHA looks into each citizenship application, that should be enough.

 @9CQ2N8QBharatiya Janataanswered…9mos9MO

Ban them at all cost, ban them all

we have way too many of our own problems, we do not need to borrow other's problems, let the west and middle east, who keep lecturing about human rights of muslim migrants, take them as refugees. Muslims are better off there since we are 'tourting' the muslims here.

 @9CPZLYLBharatiya Janataanswered…9mos9MO

All immigrants should be thoroughly screened and a proper background check should be done.Now banning Muslims specially is not acceptable but keeping in mind the historical context of partition and history of terrorism that has impacted this country individuals from high risk countries and backgrounds must be dealt with extra diligence and in some cases banned.

 @9CPYY3TBharatiya Janataanswered…9mos9MO

Muslim immigrants should be banned forever. And those who are already in, should be thrown out.

 @9CPYCW7Indian National Congressanswered…9mos9MO

No. But government should improve its ability to screen out potential terrorists regardless of religion or irreligion.

 @9CPY6SRanswered…9mos9MO

Muslims immigrants must be banned from entering the country irrespective of terrorists.

 @9CPX84CIndependentanswered…9mos9MO

Immigrant of all religions should only be accepted after a proper screening by government

 @9CPWWB4Bharatiya Janataanswered…9mos9MO

Ban muslim immigrants only from enemy countries like Pakistan until the screening process is improved.

 @9CPWVL6Independentanswered…9mos9MO

 @938ZLH3Bharatiya Janataanswered…2yrs2Y

Yes, but decrease immigration from all countries and focus on providing for the current population of India

 @8YCC7HZIndependentanswered…2yrs2Y

Immigration policies should be based on a country's ability to support it's citizens rather than religion.

 @8Y4WLCYanswered…2yrs2Y

Government should focus on improving its intelligence to better detect potential terrorists and religion should not be a criteria for allowing or disallowing immigrants in the country.

 @8Y437RSanswered…2yrs2Y

No, there should be robust background check. No religion should be banned.

 @8XXCPCZBharatiya Janataanswered…2yrs2Y

No, but can be allowed in emergencies and if the person doesn't believe in intolerant memes
