Goverment can advocate against animal cruelty for entertainment but not ban it

 @9CQB7MPBharatiya Janataanswered…10mos10MO

No. Government should in general keep away from regulating religious-cultural events.

Government shouldn't meddle in how hindus offer pashubali and again it is not for entertainment. It has a very higher purpose.

Outright ban may invite backlash from certain communities.Instead, the government should try to bring awareness about the animal cruelty and also inculcate the feeling of kindness to animals in the public.

The ethics are very confusing for this one so i would say it depends on a case by case basis.

no, but the process of killing the animal should be modernized and selling of animals under such circumstances should be more .

 @9448H48Bharatiya Janataanswered…2yrs2Y

The government should not ban these ceremonies as they are integral part of various cultures and traditions in India. Though it can be controlled like to make sure less animals are being killed.

 @8RQJWRHanswered…3yrs3Y

No. Most people are non vegetarian anyway so it doesn’t really matter in the end.

Instead of banning work towards creating sensitivity for animal life.

 @9CQX82QBharatiya Janataanswered…10mos10MO

Yes, but there should not be total ban and slaughters should be done in humane way and in prescribed areas only.

 @9CQHY6ZBharatiya Janataanswered…10mos10MO

Yes, but games which are integral to a certain culture and harm the animal as less as possible should be allowed.

 @8QM3R53answered…3yrs3Y

If it is just for the sake of entertainment it should be banned but if it comes from Adivasis and Dalit communities we shouldn’t interfere
