We should build more prisons and offer Skill building and Education for Prisoners, who wants them.

 @8YTVTHNIndependentanswered…2yrs2Y

Yes, but they must perform community service on a daily basis. They must recieve moral education, scientific thought making capacity and humility and compassion. In case any poor person who stole to feed his/her kids has been arrested due to calumny, the poor family must be provided free education facilities under the government as compensation shortly after their injust term.

 @8YM6MTWanswered…2yrs2Y

No, but we should increase funding to offer education and skill-building services for prisoners and make them do community service

 @8VXS43LIndependentanswered…3yrs3Y

No. Releasing such individuals who have been hardened by their inner hierarchy will be wrong and dangerous for all parties involved. Rather a smooth transition process should be created where said criminals are granted skills training and education to re-integrate into the society.

 @8TFRLM9Independentanswered…3yrs3Y

Only after they have totally rehabilitated and changed. there should be a vigilant check on them from time to time though. Also, sexual assault and economic scams, bribery etc to be not included in this.

 @8SH7PQXBharatiya Janataanswered…3yrs3Y

A period of mandatory community service or short imprisonment, as befit the nature of the crime

shift them to open jails or must perform compulsory community service

 @8RZGWJGBharatiya Janataanswered…3yrs3Y

Yes, but they should perform community service once a week compulsorily

 @99XTP82Bharatiya Janatafrom Guam answered…1yr1Y

They should be kept under surveillance for a duration equal to the probation period for their crimes.

 @8QM3R53answered…3yrs3Y

Instead provide lesser sentence and give them education or skill based training while they are in prison so that when they go out they are equipped to perform jobs

 @8QHWRHYBharatiya Janataanswered…3yrs3Y

A lot of corruption is involved in deciding who is violent and who is not.

They should be permitted to be, on the order of a judge, assuming house arrest and community service for the duration of their sentences. It should not be an across the board mandate or expectation.

 @92XHX9V from New York answered…2yrs2Y

it depends on what their initial crime was in the first place, if it is anything related to the harm of children then absolutely not so it depends on what the initial crime was.
