I would support a single-payer system in healthcare only if it would not become as expensive as in the UK or Canada. I believe that everyone deserves the right to quality healthcare, be it public or private.

No, but regulate private insurance to make them non-profit and have a parallel government insurance program for those who are ineligible for private insurance

 @8QM3R53answered…3yrs3Y

The tax money coming from the citizens should be rightly used to provide healthcare for all irrespective of gender, health issues, age and income

 @8PXDFDVanswered…3yrs3Y

Public option for poor people and low income families and Private option for middle class and rich

 @8TC39WHIndependentanswered…3yrs3Y

Yes, this system guarantees healthcare for everyone, but allow people to use private insurance

 @8RPP46Danswered…3yrs3Y

No, the healthcare should be free and fair for all ,and should be of high quality and care

Yes, but also open the market so private insurance can compete across state lines

 @92S34SB from California answered…2yrs2Y

No, I support this concept, however it would only work in countries that are much smaller compared with America such as Canada, Britain, and a few others and keep in mind, if there is a single payer healthcare system, there will be a waitlist and the quality of healthcare will be removed. Singe payer healthcare systems are a good idea in small countries, but unrealistic in America since the country is too big to support everyone without any extreme compromises that sacrifice quality.

No, I am all for universal healthcare, but I'd prefer a two-tier system that allows both private (highly regulated) and public healthcare (with more government funding) to ensure quality of care and services, along with government step-in to control the prices of drugs.

No, I support universal healthcare for all citizens, but I would prefer a two-tier system that allows both private (but regulated) and public healthcare (with a right amount of government funding) to ensure high-quality care and services, so people can make a choice for which they would prefer.

 @8ZVRJ7S from Indiana answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, if it is not centralized but a decentralized model like Scotland or Sweden.

 @8ZTRX22 from North Carolina answered…2yrs2Y

No, but not completely because I think thier should be a government chaos fund which would pay for severe conditions (cancer).

  Deletedanswered…2yrs2Y

No, I support universal healthcare for all citizens, but I would prefer a multi-payer system that allows both private and public healthcare (with a right amount of government funding) in order to provide better care and services, so people can make a choice for which they would prefer.

Yes, basic healthcare for all citizens but allow private care to be available for those who want to pay extra.

 @7THPXS9 from Wisconsin answered…2yrs2Y

No, though I would support a federally supported healthcare act allowing for annual PCP visits to all citizens.

 @4P355J9answered…2yrs2Y

No, but businesses should not provide health insurance for their employees. It should be a direct market with consumers, who can select a public or private option with the company of their choice.

  Deletedanswered…2yrs2Y

Yes, this system guarantees healthcare for everyone

No, I support universal healthcare but I prefer a multi-payer system (a mix of private and publicly-funded healthcare).

  Deletedanswered…2yrs2Y

Basic healthcare for all citizens while also having private care an option for those who want to pay.

Yes, private companies shouldn't be able to profit off of healthcare, but it should be a syndicated consumer cooperative system where people vote on a basic plan and personalize it as they want to (whicn can include paying more for better benefits)

 @8Y2TFS5 from Florida answered…2yrs2Y

No, Obamacare should be fixed because it has already shown to have great potential.

  Deletedanswered…2yrs2Y

No, there should be a mix of private system that coexists within a public system to ensure quality of care and incentives for doctors, so people can choose which system they want. Otherwise, we should also decrease costs of healthcare and help provide for those who are low-income and the medically needy.
