The government shouldn't crush Pakistan, but should act in self-defense. Pakistan and Bangladesh need to ultimately reunify with India.

 @9H4VTF2Bharatiya Janataanswered…5mos5MO

government should make example out of Pakistan but first make sure not more Indian die or rather using other tactic to make Pakistan hell like economic instability making sure pakistan state will become so weak like somalia and take there a bomb

 @8W6GXPXIndependentanswered…3yrs3Y

Have long term strategic and tactical operations in wide field range such as military, economic, diplomatic etc.

India should defend herself and protect all her territories and interests, but should not use disproportionate force.

 @8VXS43LIndependentanswered…3yrs3Y

No. Rather than going for an all out war, surgical strikes on key targets of the Pakistani army should be considered provided there is irrefutable evidence that the Pakistani govt. Was aiding and abetting the terrorists in question.

We shouldn't end up starting a conflict. We must respond with the same equal force and reciprocate like that and restrain from actions which might cause a war. Brute force should never erupt into a war.

 @8V8RS56Independentanswered…3yrs3Y

As much is necessary to protect our territorial integrity and national security

 @8TFM6WNanswered…3yrs3Y

It should not harm the country seriously or kill too many people just be more prepared for attrocities

 @8RJ2PVZanswered…3yrs3Y

It should respond according to the severity of the attack from Pakistan.

Take proportional counter-measures, report to the UNSC , attempt to solve through dialogue

 @8Q6VNHNBharatiya Janataanswered…3yrs3Y

Yes, but only conventional methods. Nuclear option should be reserved until the very end

 @8Q29ZJBanswered…3yrs3Y

The government should indeed respond with a devastating force but should try not to harm the civilians.

 @8PLLV74answered…3yrs3Y

yes, but we must not target public places or cities but focus on military and terror bunkers

 @8PLLF7WIndependentanswered…3yrs3Y

The government should respond with strategic military action that ensures minimal to no civilian casualties

 @8PGCHR5answered…3yrs3Y

Yes but not enough to start a war/ drastically increase terrorist attacks

 @9FMZP8Hanswered…7mos7MO

In the event of a Pakistani attack India will defend itself accordingly in the event of a nuclear attack a nuclear attack on Pakistan and any country found to be directly supporting Pakistan will be nuked as well

 @9CR3YKNIndian National Congressfrom answered…10mos10MO

Depends on the type of attack. The priority should always be to minimise civilian casualties.

 @9CQWRB8Dravida Munnetra Kazhagamanswered…10mos10MO

Pakistan is a nuclear armed country. Any response must first be dealt diplomatically ,if not then approach other countries for joint sanctions against Pakistan, cripple it's economy but war should never be ruled out. India must also be ready for war. War should be last resort.

 @9CQ7P9XIndependentanswered…10mos10MO

If under attack, respond with a measured military response and aim to end conflict through diplomacy. No civilians should be caught in the military crossfire.

 @9CQ69TYBharatiya Janataanswered…10mos10MO

Yes, we need to act covertly and take down such capabilities without harming people.

 @9BS3Q2CBharatiya Janataanswered…12mos12MO

Launch a special military operation with the intent of deradicalisation and demilitarisation of Pakistan and balkanise the region. After 3 generations (40-50 years) annex all the region. This strategy shall be applied with the rest of the subcontinent.

 @962KL2Y from GU answered…1yr1Y

No, only use proportional force to prevent mutually assured destruction

 @999W5RTfrom Washington answered…1yr1Y

 @9987HWCanswered…1yr1Y

Yes, but allow ordinary Pakistani citizens to travel freely to India.

Yes, but we should try to normalise relations with Pakistan as they are a less of a threat.

 @8T6RZVXIndependentanswered…3yrs3Y

A strong defense will ultimately be better as it will cause them to exhaust their military resources while India can still maintain the moral high ground in the eyes of the world.

Retaliate with a lesser powerful force and then engaging diplomatically with Pakistan to de-escalate tensions

 @8RQJWRHanswered…3yrs3Y

The govt should respond with the same amount of force that it would use if any other country attacked us.
