A politician has to have the right experience, but there should also be laws encouraging and helping women politicians, so that, naturally, half of the seats in parliament will be women.

Yes. Any candidate for the parliament that passes the eligibility criteria can gain a seat in the parliament regardless of how much or how little experience one may have. Parties should be mandated instead to field a diverse group of candidates during all their campaigns, so that eligible candidates from diverse backgrounds can also enter the parliament easily and represent the under-represented segments of society.

Provide fifty percent reservations for women and within that provide proportional reservations for SC/ST/OBC and Transgender women

Yes, but if there is no qualified woman to take the seat, others should be allowed a chance

 @99CDLZRAam Aadmianswered…1yr1Y

The number of seats reserved for female candidates should be set to 20%

 @8T3C4BQanswered…3yrs3Y

Any party fielding candidates above a certain limit should be made compulsory to field almost 15-20% women instead of reserving seats in parliament.

No, as long as the person deserves the seat, gender should not matter

 @8R9DFS2Bharatiya Janataanswered…3yrs3Y

Yes, women should be given reservation for some 20-25 years to make them politically motivated and strong. Once the stage is set the reservation can be stopped.

 @8QKSG2KBharatiya Janataanswered…3yrs3Y

No, but political parties could give reservation while giving tickets

 @8Q6P8SJIndependentanswered…3yrs3Y

Reservation in parliament must be divided to all genders, not just two.

 @8PLLV74answered…3yrs3Y

yes , also reserve for the LGBTQ communityand to introduce minimum educational qualification across all genders

 @8F3WHSNBharatiya Janataanswered…4yrs4Y

Let the women be empowered and as they empower gradually remove the reservation by reduction

 @9CQ2GTNIndian National Congressanswered…10mos10MO

Yes.But it should be caste based and also the percentage should be increased to 45%

 @9CQJS78answered…10mos10MO

Women can have reservations in their respective categories rather than general reservation in seats.
