Private sector should be less involved but with strict regulations and only for higher medical facilities and less costs

 @9LXDPFCBharatiya Janataanswered…10mos10MO

There should be more public involvement in healthcare for low-income areas, but more private involvement in healthcare for high-income areas.

 @9K2JFLYIndependentanswered…1yr1Y

Public and private collaborative involvement, under closer supervision for ensuring quality, accessibility and avoiding misuse of resources, monopoly and profitmaking.

Regardless, technology should be mobilized go reduce medical expenses and cooperative medical institutions set up to help the common man

 @9CQXYVCIndependentanswered…2yrs2Y

Private sectors should get involved in the business as they are good for the efficiency and competition which will result in improved quality and reduced prices, public sector should stay limited to policy making to prevent monopolies.

 @9BX25D4Bharatiya Janataanswered…2yrs2Y

Private sector should be involved in healthcare with government regulating the costs.

It should get involved where ever the inoculation and primary health etc are a priority, split a cost of health insurance with citizens, and increase temperament among people and ease up setting up of hospitals to private players allowing more of private players to take part there by increasing competition which will force them to be good and jest in what they do.

Maintain the Status quo. Government should increase funding for Public Healthcare to increase it's quality and for it to be a Model for Private Healthcare Institutions.

A financial safety net that helps economically vulnerable can be dominated by public sector, while middle/upper class net can be financed by individuals/family provided by private sector. Delivery of healthcare should be dominated by private sector.

 @947NJR4Biju Janata Dalanswered…3yrs3Y

The public sector should be involved in healthcare, though it must first improve its standards to that of private healthcare.

 @93V4S5Danswered…3yrs3Y

Both the private and public sectors need to work together and create a flexible health care system where there is it is accessible to all people as well as maintain innovation and competition

 @8Y2LT5KIndependentanswered…3yrs3Y

Both should have an equal role in the system, it will give people options and ensure healthy competition

 @8XF5M8Fanswered…3yrs3Y

Public and private, both should be allowed to get involved in healthcare.

 @8XCLM45Independentanswered…3yrs3Y

There should be a public option of healthcare insurance that is mandatory to be accepted by all healthcare institutions, and government should be able to negotiate and bring down the prices of drugs

Ensure both are regulated. And make the gap between rural and urban areas from accessing to be reduced

 @8W2JY39answered…3yrs3Y

Both are important as pivate healthcare system will gurantee that the doctors are accountable and public healthcare system will be much more affodable for general public

 @8VBNB9WIndependentanswered…3yrs3Y

 @8V2VFC3answered…3yrs3Y

More public involvement that is on par with the private healthcare in terms of better qualified doctors, energetic and empathetic staff, availablity of equipment, etc

 @8TSYS8GBharatiya Janataanswered…4yrs4Y

Public and Private both should be involved in health care but government should not regulating stuff like pricing, wages etc in private hospitals. It should be left as a free market.

 @8TMP6RFBharatiya Janataanswered…4yrs4Y

For lower income families and below poverty line, public healthcare can be mandatory.

The Public Sector needs thorough reforms and should be allowed to compete with private sector healthcare and in the long run, public sector healthcare should be abandoned

Private sector healthcare With government regulations/Insurance and price control

 @8TFBRB5Bharatiya Janataanswered…4yrs4Y

Current participation of public sector is enough but govt should introduce strict regulations with respect to charges and ethics in the private health care sector.

 @8T843YBIndependentanswered…4yrs4Y

 @8T2WHPDBharatiya Janataanswered…4yrs4Y

Public private partnership is the best. govt should keep the ownership with itself and give the managements of public hospitals to private players.

 @8T282SBanswered…4yrs4Y

 @8SZF2NSBharatiya Janataanswered…4yrs4Y

Both because those who can't afford to pay for private hospitals can have access to public hospitals

 @8SYHSTLIndependentanswered…4yrs4Y

Both of them are necessary. There should be a harmony between the public and private sector.

 @8SWJVPQBharatiya Janataanswered…4yrs4Y

Both should be involved but the cost of treatment should be decided by state

 @8SV7NZLBharatiya Janataanswered…4yrs4Y

The private sector should be involved but the government should keep a check upon them

 @8STTKJLIndependentanswered…4yrs4Y

There should be enough public hospitals for needy but we should also encourage private sector in healthcare because they tend to provide better service

 @8ST2DBVAam Aadmianswered…4yrs4Y

Both can be used with terms and conditions on private sector regarding prices

 @8SRDQ43Bharatiya Janataanswered…4yrs4Y

 @8SR65VLAam Aadmianswered…4yrs4Y

Public healthcare should be made better and a system is place like NHS should be carried out in India, however the private healthcare industry should also be given room to grow and provide services as at times Public hospitals can get overburdened, and private hospitals need to be there. A balance between the two would work wonders.

 @8SNTXF7Bharatiya Janataanswered…4yrs4Y

Public investment should be more in generalised health and primary health care, diagnosis and medical insurance Private investments should more in specialised treatment and drug research

 @8SH7PQXBharatiya Janataanswered…4yrs4Y

It should be upto the respective state governments to make this decision. No binding national policy.

 @8SC4CQWanswered…4yrs4Y

The Government should increase the funding to improve and modernize the existing Healthcare System.

 @8S4KYPWanswered…4yrs4Y

 @8S4KSXCAam Aadmianswered…4yrs4Y

both private and public sector should involve equally and collaborate with each other

 @8S4DL54answered…4yrs4Y

Both have their own merits and demerits. There is a need to improve public hospitals as many people can only afford in a public hospital.

 @8RZZC2NBharatiya Janataanswered…4yrs4Y

Both should be equally involved, and public sector should be as good as private sector

 @8RYCMZQBharatiya Janataanswered…4yrs4Y

Both are needed , scaling up regulation and reforms required also more allocation for RND

 @8RWH932answered…4yrs4Y

Public healthcare in India has gone for a complete toss. Government must focus on quality regardless of what private sector does

 @8RPP7JCShiv Senaanswered…4yrs4Y

There should be a balance since it will be a trade off between quality of healthcare vs cost

 @8RCV6M2answered…4yrs4Y

Private healthcare should be promoted, but there should be a common statutory regulation over both the healthcare sectors
