A term limit is a law which limits the length of time a person may serve in an elected office. In India there are no term limits on the office of the President. The Prime Minister and Parliament must be re-elected every five years.

Yes, it will increase performance and reduce corruption. But it could be increased after a recognition by an independent body that examines the conduct of the minister within that term. It should not be increased if serious charges of crimes are on them.
