The Temple was funded by private parties and government intervention was never needed after the judgement

 @9LCX2CYanswered…2mos2MO

No religious places should be funded. Temples are looted with taxation all the time while funding terrorism centres like mosques and madrasas.

 @9J8CSS3Independentanswered…4mos4MO

No, the Government should not be involved with spreading religion. It is the job of spiritual leaders, religious teachers and priests. Not politicians.

 @9HFZG53Bharatiya Janataanswered…6mos6MO

The construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya should be paid by both the government and public donations.

 @9H6FDPJShiv Senaanswered…6mos6MO

Yes, because the revenue from Hindu Temples is administered by the Government. If they free the temples, it can be privately funded.

 @8S99TL8answered…3yrs3Y

Yes as long as govt also gives equal priority to other religions and thier needs

 @8S933RBBharatiya Janataanswered…3yrs3Y

No, Government should not involve with religious institutions (Though the temple should be built)

 @8S5VBJTBharatiya Janataanswered…3yrs3Y

No, the govt should not be involved however the Temple is an important symbol and should be fundraised as it already is

 @8S4DL54answered…3yrs3Y

The government should focus on bigger issues than this. Many rural areas in India are still devoid of basic facilities such as roads, schools, hospitals. For the construction of the temple people can donate according to their choice.

 @8S3C6JWanswered…3yrs3Y

Art. 25 and 26 prohibit state promotion of religion, however, a state may in the public interest, and to preserve heritage may conserve ancient buildings of a religious nature.

 @8RYCMZQBharatiya Janataanswered…3yrs3Y

Govt. Controls hindu temple along with donnations given to them and uses the money for secular purposes, this is discriminatory and unsecular and is done to no other institution, govt. Should give temples as well as donations to the community, no interference should be there Hindus can then use these donations effeciently to take care of their own temple needs.

 @8PR2R3XIndependentanswered…3yrs3Y

No, the temple should be made with the money from voluntary contributions, the government shouldn't have a hand at it.

Ram Mandir should be allowed to be built..But the government should not pay for it

 @9GQCL2ZBharatiya Janataanswered…7mos7MO

No. Government need not fund but anyone can fund the project, but government can fund for the development of area around temple

 @9GH7YB7Aam Aadmianswered…7mos7MO

Yes as Ayodhya is one of the most important sites for Hindus and it will be taxed later on. If it was on some other city, I would have said no.

 @9FXJ4SNanswered…8mos8MO

No, this decision should be made by the Supreme Court. The Government should have no role in religious concerns.

 @9FCTQX6answered…8mos8MO

Yes. The government should be paying for it, because tax is paid by Hindus too.

 @9F5W6KLBharatiya Janataanswered…8mos8MO

Publicly funded and by any other funding process by temple funds, or non governmental institutions

 @9D6K5N7Independentfrom Alabama answered…10mos10MO

I dont't think the government should pay for it because the Indian government is not a religion based government and if they do pay for it, it will seem like they are in favor of a certain religion.

 @9CT4CRPanswered…10mos10MO

Funding is not expected from the government rather citizens themselves funded it and we don't even ask for money from the government

 @9CT2M3JBharatiya Janataanswered…10mos10MO

A government should not fund the construction of any form of religious place, like Haj house, neither any religious place should be taxed. If the religious place is of historical importance then the government could take care of it’s maintainence.

 @9CQYLY8Independentanswered…10mos10MO

Govt is not funding for the temple, it is a public fundraiser, please check relevance while framing your questions.

Since existing temples are being managed by the government, building new ones should be done by the government as well. If not, stop taking revenues from temples, just like all other religious places and then not worry about building news ones

 @9CQNPGFIndependentanswered…10mos10MO

no, government should not have any part in it and a hindu organisation should be set up to do everything related to it. government, in general, must be kept out of any religious stuff

We Hindus are enough to build our own temple we don’t need help from govt

  Deletedanswered…10mos10MO

Government should spend money to utilise Ram Temple to give a boost to local economy . Can be done by building infrastructure.

 @9CQHRVNIndependentanswered…10mos10MO

No, but government should release temples from government control first.
