Global warming, or climate change, is an increase in the earth's atmospheric temperature since the late nineteenth century. In politics, the debate over global warming is centered on whether this increase in temperature is due to greenhouse gas emissions or is the result of a natural pattern in the earth's temperature. India is the world's third biggest greenhouse gas emitter, has pledged to source 40% of its electricity from renewable and other low-carbon sources by 2030.

West developed now they bringing in all the bs to deacceletare other' growth. Yes, the global warming is real, but that didn't stop them from developing, that isn't stopping them from being the highest consumer of water, electricity, fuel per capita in the world even now. The per capita emissions of these developed countries are order of magnitude avove us.
We need to grow and we need to tell them to cut their usage and live a less entitled elite luxuryful life.

The government should regulate and nudge industries towards sustainable development but not at the cost of the developmental goals of the country. It is a context specific thing wherein developed world should have a far greater oversight over these things but in developing countries like India reducing poverty, providing for the needs of the people and development of critical sectors cannot be compromised upon.
